Red Challenge and Happy Holidays

This should be my final bicycle picture of the year – unless instead of packing I sneak out tomorrow for one last ride before we leave for our trip (without our bicycles – how can we!?). On December 10 we are flying to Bangkok. A visit to Cambodia to once again admire the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat and a short meander in Myanmar are planned – all without our bicycles I am sorry to say. But we have cycled in SE Asia, more than once, we loved it, and we know that we are just a tad to old for that kind of adventure now.

Here’s wishing everyone a very happy, fun, exciting, calm, joyous, amazing – you choose it – holiday season!

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

Thank you Suzanne, you have all those thing for your holiday as well.

I can say I am only a bit envious of your upcoming trip — even without bicycles. Send us some photos — with a reference to the blog I know you will be keeping ;’-)

All the best in SE Asia, should be some great photo opportunities, savour the warmth.

I’ve consulted with the curators for the site, and talked them into agreeing that you can post photos from Cambodia as long as there’s an occasional shot of a bike included. You don’t need to be biking yourself, just this once.
