I am in Kota Iskandar for a few days. That massive development in the state of Johor, just across the Johor Strait from Singapore.
This is the view of the Strait of Johor from the 22nd floor apartment I am staying in.
Today I rode to Tanjung Piai, which is the southernmost point of mainland Asia.
I started at 6.15am so watched the full moon set and the sun rise.
It was about 60km / 38mi to Tanjung Piai.
It has been very hot lately and today was no exception. 33ºC / 91.5ºF by the time I got back to the apartment at 11.15am.
My weather photograph came from this evening. A storm was threatening to the west while it was blue skies to the east. It turned out to be lots of sizzle but very little steak. Perhaps two minutes of light drizzle is all.
