Searching for flags

On a ride along the Swan River northside my initial plan was foiled by a complete lack of wind which makes taking photos of flags pretty sub-optimal. Luckily around the city a breeze kicked in and I grabbed some snaps along Riverside Drive of some City of Perth tourism flags. Also here is my holiday to Kalbarri if interested. We certainly don’t do national flags like in the USA. I’ll keep searching for West Coast Eagles flags but as the disappointing season is now over, all the flags must be packed up for next year.

My holy grail would be to find a Green Bay Packers flag here, but where?

I live in the hills just east of the city of Perth, Western Australia and I've loved cycling all my life, From riding to primary school when I was 8 years old to cycle touring as a grumpy old man. Cycling is freedom on two wheels and I love getting on my bike at any opportunity.

Nice photos of flags — Australia has a very impressive flag Im surprised it isnt flown more there.

The Holiday in Kalbarri looks like a great place to go. Enjoyed the photos, beautiful place!!
The ‘just dont do it’ sign is not something one might see here!!

Thanks for the link to Chef G’s pasty recipe — we have been to the UP of Michigan and were advised in advance, pastie is pronounced pass-tee, the other pronunciation being an entirely different thing!
They are super good — I may even try Chef G’s method

There are many who want to change the flag, mainly remove the Union Jack of the UK. Funny enough, the two places I’ve seen lots of flags are at Caravan Saleyards and drag racing. That just don’t do it sign is a classic, I think they got sick of cleaning up the human faeces at the pink lake lookout. https://www.australiascoralcoast.com/destination/pink-lake-port-gregory. I’m overjoyed to find a shop that serves classic “Cornish Pasty”, otherwise I would have to get Lovely Wife to cook me one.

“We certainly don’t do national flags like in the USA.” Roger that. Always lots of them fluttering everywhere I go. I’ve mostly restrained my shutter finger in hopes of finding something more exotic. I know where some Tibetan prayer flags are, but can’t get there via bike.

I reckon the Californian Republic flag is pretty cool.
