SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE: SIGNS #5 AND #6

Today was a day for the birds ;’-). We rode our bikes from home to Edmonds and took the ferry to Kingston for 4 year old grandson’s birthday in the park. Waiting for the ferry to load we got a few views of the sound. First bird sign… keep the birds healthy, and ensure they will know to how forage for theirs, do not feed them your food

We didn’t stay at the party long as it was mainly for kiddos. We did get to give birthday hugs and drop off a few gifts, then hugs goodbye. Off to the ferry again, and though it was windy and a few white caps, the ride was smooth enough.

This sign is on the bridge that is part of the walk/bike way. Watch out — don’t trample the ducks.

Forecast had called for some rain sometime this mid morning or early afternoon. Did not happen. Enjoyable ride on the bike and on the water — with hugs in between. Life is good ;’-)

Thanks Kathleen, I do like these kinds of “challenges”. They keep my eyes alert for some interesting things, and things I may not notice otherwise.
