September Fall In Line

On an errand run this morning I was not actually looking for a photo when this one popped up. I know that this first one qualifies, as the line is going in the direction that I am traveling, but does the second one?
Does a line that is perpendicular to your line of travel quality for the challenge?

The potted flowers are so perfect with the colors on your bike! And I see no reason why the second picture shouldn’t qualify, everything is in line to my eye. A great find.
Thanks Suzanne. I always know that you have a good feel for the ‘rules’. ;’-)
Suzanne’s opinion doesn’t actually carry that much weight here, since she’s not curating this challenge (although next year’s slot is still open to applicants). As it happens though, we agree with her. Great shots, and great color!
See — I was right about Suzanne knowing the right rules!
Thanks Scott.
Nice color matches in both photos — as far as I can determine, as long as your bicycle is in alignment with the photographed object, it should qualify.
Thanks Rich. I think it is unanimous — the direction the line is facing is of no importance.
Great photos – I love those pots. I am confused now about the rules and will have to re-read!
Thanks Em. I am beginning to think that, except for the main rules, we should each make up our own minor rule for any challenge we attempt ;’-). After all — there is no prize at the end, and we are all very capable of interrupting the rules our way ;’-). But alas, that is my thought only, so I guess not.
I’m with you on the “rules”!! If I stop to take a photo it qualifies 😊😊
Oh good. That is exactly how I feel Janet ;’-)
