Sheep in Shadow – again

At last – the picture I have been looking for.  Almost.

The image above includes cycle plus sheep.  You can’t really see though so here is the sheep in shadow.

The front one thinks she is in the shade, or just enjoys snuggling with a wheel.  The other one really is in the shade of the pivot irrigator.

We were on a ride out to Poatina – HERE is a link to the story.

Nice — but I will not chance that I will EVER find another Sheep in Shade!!! Serendipitous that I found one!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopkins and I remain on the lookout for sheep and/or sheep in shade. Lots of goats, long horn cattle and deer, but no bah-bahs so far on our journeys. We’ll keep watching though. Hopkins suggested we carry an umbrella to hold over the little lamb in case we find one. I gently reminded him most sheep frown upon being approached by a bicycle holding an umbrella. Cheers & happy pedaling.

Good photo! I honestly don’t remember the last time I saw sheep around here.
At one time there were some west of town, no longer. 🙁

I think the sheep in the sun is just practicing the “out of the wind, in the sun” position for winter…..
