SLOW RE-ENTRY

I have been away from you all for a while now and think I am once again ready to rejoin you. I have been well, and have been riding my bike almost every day these past 2-3 months. I take a break from it so not to burn out my passion 😉.

Here are a few of the photos I have taken on some of my rides.

I’ll start with the first sign of spring… Momma leading her babies.

My bike amongst the red…

Recently Susan and I have been venturing out from home, by about 50 or so miles, in the RV and finding a place to spend a night or two (camping or “RV”ing). It is easy to shelter in place in the RV, and to keep social distance from anyone, and most seemed to stay in their shelter at the campgrounds. We have done three trips since our state opened up some parks in Phase 2, with one on the calendar for next week. The first one took us north and into some countryside.

We have enjoyed riding in areas we do not often go to, and have now made a 100 mile circle on the state map to continue our explorations. Plan is to, of course, widen that circle as we progress through the “Phases” and feel safe enough to do that.

Though we (especially I) ride this particular trail a lot, it was a good ride to get to it from our campsite. Here is Susan at the beginning of “Tommy Thompson Trail” taking a photo.

There were lots of seals playing with us near the trail, and I had trouble finding them in my view finder with sun not in the right place. I took this one by luck as I simply decided to click the shutter and hope.

And who can resist ANY photo op of a bicycle of any kind …

Before boring you with more pictures, I will close this post and bore you later on another one ;’-).

Great to see you back, Nancy!
Love your bike in the red blossoms.
The RV sounds so perfect for getting away and yet staying safe. And riding every day, kudos!

OH yes, the RV has ended up being perfect for these shelter in place getaways. Not what we had planned it for, but a big bonus for these times.

Nice to be back too. Thank you ;’-)

Thanks Bill, I wouldn’t mind one of those myself, but it wouldn’t quite fit in at my house ;’-0.

Great to see you back in the game — sounds like you are having a good time despite dealing with the Phases as we are too.
    Looking forward to more posts!

      Thanks Rich.
Dealing with the “phases” takes patience and True Grit!! My bike helps me do at least some small, as well as temporary, escapes from the worry of it all.
