Some Trees

I have been way to busy!! Even though with fun stuff and things of choice, still way too busy. But I do have a few trees to post. As I have mentioned, I know nothing about trees other than I love them! So I don’t have names for these in my post, but the photos are nice ;’-)

I ride by this one many times on my bike rambles in my neighborhood. I always appreciate it as I pass by.

On another loop in my neighborhood I find this interesting tree.

And finally, one I might just know the name of — Cedar.

One would think that my summer activities that consume so much of my time would be slowing down. Not so as I will be on the move through August, September and October! Camping, RV touring, time with Grands in CA, and a bike tour in Quebec. I will try to keep up here with posts and with reading others’, but realize I may not have time to comment. I appreciate and enjoy all the posts here and am sorry I have gotten behind in reading and commenting.

Any chance you are going to swing south? Although we have our 4th through 9th house guests at the moment (meow!), there’s always room for a couple more. Are you blogging your travels and/or posting your pictures? P.S. I love the interesting barks on some of the trees.

Thanks for the offer Laura. We will be sticking relatively close to home this year — ID, MT, CA, WA. Will look at further afield for the future so I will definitely keep your offer tucked away ;’-).

Thanks Bill. While RVing I also intend to update here once in a while — at least for the challenges, but maybe something interesting will turn up.

That first tree sure has some interesting patterned bark.
The Bonzai type pine is pretty cool looking too.
Sounds like you have a full fun schedule for the next months — enjoy!!

Thanks Rich. No hard and fast plan for after this season, but if there is trip that takes anywhere near Illinois, it looks like a great place to explore ;’-)
