Happy to see the Anura found a good home — the Magnum is looking good!
Good ride to Poatina despite the weather being a little iffy.
Interesting about the home built carbon fiber recumbent — I wonder how he did that?

(-3C here this morning, may put off riding for a while! Oscar would have had to be nailed down yesterday, gusts to 50mph, and a few trees uprooted)

Edit: Just found this on building a CF bicycle

Thanks for the link Rich. The bloke I met told me the steering head was originally made too light and it broke after a few months of riding. Easy to fix though and hasn’t given any trouble since. Well, there’s a lot of weight on it with the gearing, chain etc all being on the front wheel.

The Tiers do create a lot of clouds. These were much better to look at than the heavy grey things earlier in the week. In the winter the clouds lift revealing the snow on top.

Sounds like you had a good ride!
Tried to follow your link but Firefox wouldn’t let me, same with Chrome. Don’t know how to work around that. But it worked on my smart phone.

Odd about the link. I suspect WordPress has some smarts before the page is displayed as it actually logs me in before display. I have no control over how it works – unless I copy the link to a different access point … hmm .. will try that next time and ask you how it goes.
