We have just a few more days in sunny Sacramento and this will be my last chance for a teaneuring outing before heading back to Seattle. Next one may well be in the rain ;’-).
OK so, I took my paper cue sheet along to finish the route I attempted yesterday, and was able to complete the loop. Back on that trail for a short time, the egret was there foraging again.
There was not a whole lot to take photos of but still an enjoyable short ride for the day. On one of the busier roads, which has no bike lane or shoulder, there is conveniently a bike/pedestrian sidewalk/path.
Even a place to sit if you like.
A few pedal strokes further was this bridge beyond the rose hips.
I could not pass by without seeing where this bridge might take me. It took me directly into a neighborhood and this little pocket park, with a fallen acorn.
Now it was time to let go of the RWGPS route and find my way for a tea stop. How could I possibly not go into this one?
And by now it was lunch time ;’-)
Good lunch but it was too much! Ate about half of it and drank all of my tea.
MONDAY OCTOBER 22ND, 2018
BLACK TEA WTH NO NAME. I don’t care for Jasmine tea and it was the only green tea they had. When I chose black tea, she said ‘just straight black tea?”. Yep, straight black tea and it was very good, and strong — the way I like it.
SUNNY of course ;’-)
