Great to see you getting out, Navi. I’ve been thinking of you and these rides over the last few weeks, when my knees have been troubling me more than I’d wish. I think I must be count8ng down the years on how much longer I can keep taking the challenging rides I’ve always taken for granted. I’ve been really surprised though at how rewarding shorter rides can be. I think I get more back from them than from the longer days I’ve done in the past.

    Take care,
    Scott

Thanks, Scott. I’m sorry to hear that your knees are giving you issues. It is amazing how much we take our health for granted until we don’t have it! I hope there are some options for you, and that it’s not related to the Bike Friday, since your other bikes would be harder to lug around the world for travel. I am not over the frustrations of not being to do really challenging rides yet – I could accept such things post-65 years-of-age, but not at 42. I’m trying hard to take it easy, but I have to admit, I’m not past the anger/frustration stage! Maybe actually getting a diagnosis at some point will make that easier…. I’ve been following along here and there on your Greek Island extravaganza – I don’t have the energy to read everything at the moment after a day of work, but what I have seen has looked fabulous. Your pics and narrative make it all sound so inviting! All the best.
