The July challenge: hogging the bandwidth

So Rodriguez and I didn’t use up all of the visible spectrum yesterday, but we certainly grabbed our share.  We got a bit carried away when Suzanne pettifogged over my posting of someone else’s bicycle in my first submission.  She’s right, annoyingly enough – I did state that you needed to pose with YOUR bike when I composed this month’s challenge, but that wasn’t my intent.  I’ve discussed this with the jury panel, and they agree that entries will accepted if they include ANY bike, honoring the idea of original intent.

Suzanne would argue that the featured image, of my friend Bruce showing off his impressive fitness, doesn’t qualify either because that’s his Bike Friday, not mine.  We’ve got it covered though – Rodriguez ran wild yesterday, as you’ll see here.

And, if you’re unfamiliar with Bruce and his partner Andrea, you should definitely familiarize yourself by checking out This Time Tomorrow, the wonderful journal of their tour of Vietnam and Cambodia.

This is just a placeholder for now. I’ll add a real description when I get more time.

A picture for almost each color of the rainbow – wow! Let’s give credit to Rodriguez for ferreting them out. And a new word for my vocabulary – pettifog. What are you going to come up with next?

I got tired of calling you picky and snarky so I looked up synonyms. I’ve seen this word before but never bothered looking it up. I was surprised to see what it meant!
