This Has Nothing To Do With A Bike Ride

I was looking at the Crazyguyonabike website today. I don’t know why I keep going back there, but today I saw some sad new from our friend Laura. Her husband Jim passed away this week after several years of dementia. I watched my paternal grandmother go that way. It’s very hard. Since I can’t post on CGOAB anymore, I wish you my condolences here, Laura.

Thanks so much, Greg. I changed my CGOAB profile because Jim was on several of those rides with me.. I haven’t been on the bike for what seems like months. Hoping that changes soon.

Very sad for your loss Laura, my mother stood by my father for years as he lost his mental acuity, it’s a tough job. Wishing you lots of strength and treasure the good times.

Again, my thoughts are with you as you endure your loss. Perhaps you can find your way back to your bike for some time on the saddle and some easy going riding to help.

    My heart goes to you.
