Timber Cruising

The Challenge of the Month for June requires photographing tree(s) and bicycle. That’s actually a fairly tricky assignment. Lining up an interesting shot of a bike with a tree isn’t always easy, especially when attempting to fit all of a tall tree into the frame.

I have a few trees in mind for the Challenge, but I wasn’t quite ready to tackle them. Instead I decided to take my usual leisurely cruise out the Greenway, keeping my eyes open for some experimental photos for practice if I spotted any likely timber.

I ended up with a few mildly interesting shots, but it’s clear I need a lot of practice and hard work if I want to cover myself with arboreal glory during the Challenge of the Month.
