Virtual Tour 3: Public Art

I lived in The Hague in the Netherland for two years or so. What a country for cyclists.

Here are two posts about public art I saw from my bicycle while riding in Holland. As I said in the first of these posts, I am sure I missed more than I noticed.

The first link also holds a video of the Maastunnel. The Maastunnel is just one example of the outstanding cycling infrastructure in the Netherlands.

I love the sculptures and the mermen. Lots of public art squeezed in a small area for sure! I have tried to convince my friend that lives in The Hague to take up cycling. Unfortunately, he is tragically uncoordinated and hasn’t done so.

I had the same experience with a friend in The Hague. I spent months with her in a park trying to get her going on a bicycle. She got there in the end. It was hard work though 😄.
