West County

I’ve been enjoying plenty of off-road riding with the Ogre lately, especially on trails in our local parks.
Today, having almost beaten a never-ending computer project into submission, I decided I needed to get out and stretch my legs for a few miles on pavement.
Off I went into the wild west county, where they don’t even notice when PG&E shuts down their electricity.

Looks like a nice ride – but Gatorade instead of tea?
I like Gatorade, but tea would have been much better with the trail mix (also known by some, I believe, as nuts and bolts).
Lot’s of potential apple cider there.
Cider! Of course! No need for Gatorade or tea! 😉
Nice ride after battling the computer — the apples are reminiscent of the small orchard at our old place, squirrels loved it, me, not so much.
Is that the bridge shown in the video as your rode across the floodwaters?
Good memory, Rich. Yep, I posted a video of a ride across when it was submerged. No one seems to really care about the trail but crews are forever trying to prevent the nearby road from flooding during the rainy season.
