Wonderwall to be here

Out the Greenway and back. Made a couple of short side trips to see about photographing walls. Other than that, not much excitement except when the garbage truck stopped in the middle of the road and tried to back up over top of me while I was pinned in place by traffic and parked cars.

PS: Extra points to anyone who knows where this title came from.

They call me Old Grumble-Face. I have no idea why they do that....

I don’t know where the title comes from, but all the different textures of that wall make it very interesting.

Interesting wall — were they using leftover materials? Turned out very nice.
I dont see any peep holes 🙂 — after extensive research Im still not confident about the title of the post.
George Harrison song for the movie Wonderwall is the best I can assimilate from what Ive found.

Highway 101 on the other side of the sound wall. Not sure why they built with such a variety of materials, but I agree with Nancy. I like the textures.

The song? From a very obscure album — Wonderwall — by George Harrison back in about 1968.

Nice colorful wall shots on over on Bill Bikes!
Wish I could join the wall fun, but I won’t be reunited with my bike until mid-January. Hope you have an inspiring challenge to get me out in the cold weather!

I enjoyed the wall shots, Bill. Interestingly, a generation later, another British band sang a song called “Wonderwall”. This song was VERY popular when I was travelling around Oz in 1998. I hated the song – and the brothers in the band came across to me as pricks. But I heard the song A LOT in hostels and such because all the English backpackers travelling around on their gap year thought the song was the greatest thing ever.
