Are we tired of collections yet?

Don’t give up too soon, folks. There’s still nearly two weeks of this challenge month left, and collections yet unseen to be viewed and boasted about. Time does drag in the winter, when it’s cold and wet where many of you live, or hot and insufferable for others; and where you can’t entertain yourselves by visiting with friends or going to cultural events; or where you’re hesitant to go outside at all.
To inspire you to find that special collection, here’s an especially photogenic heap of retired tires. And to inspire yourselves to get out the door, here’s my latest attempt to bike my age in miles. One of this years I might cut over to kilometers, but not just yet.

Thanks for your inspirational words Scott. We are off for a rainy weekend in Port Townsend and I will try to get out at least a little to see what I can find in collections. I do have at least one ‘saved up’ that I took when on a sunshine ride. Will post when I have more than one, as I don’t want to chance the extra tariff for over-posting ;’-).
I’m envious. I love Port Townsend. Plenty of collectibles there gulls, piers, barnacles, drunks.
I love PT also. We brought our bikes of course, but 45 mile wind and lots of rain keep us on walks rather than bike rides. A little disappointed about that, but a very interesting town to walk around in, especially if you are on a sort of scavenger hunt ;’-).

Well done! That is a great accomplishment and a beautiful spot to be in winter to do it 🙂
