A Little Unexpected
Had to run an errand into Abingdon this morning, delivering a chocolate cake to my mother in law. As the sun was shining brightly I would take the longer less direct route there.

Recently flooded fields off of Peep O’Day Lane, this is a walking / cycling route to the edge of Abingdon.

This is the eastern end Drayton 1066, rarely this flooded.

Into Abingdon now, the boat to the right is being lived in, quite a rare occurrence in town. Cocktails at the pointy end perhaps.

Wasn’t expecting to see this little house on wheels.

Its not the first time I’ve seen this, it was in exactly the same place last summer. I’ve never seen anyone in it or near nor attached to any vehicle.
So from here onto the m-i-l, then home to assist taking the decorations down.

With the right hitch, I reckon you could hook up to that little house on wheels and tow it behind your bike on your next long tour. đ
Maybe if I still had my trike.
Cool little house!
Actually, there are campers to pull behind bicycles — no facilities though. đ
Should imagine it’s quite cosy inside.
Looks to me like a nice bike route for an errand run ;â-). And what a good S-I-L you are đ.
Thank you Nancy, of the three routes into Abingdon for home that is the one I prefer, quiet and no traffic down the lane.
Lots of interesting pictures! Looks like you had much rain!
Suzanne, thank you. Yes a lot rain, all day again today.
