A Picnic

And more food related pictures in my new journal. After taking a break, Janos and I resumed our trip to Kassel. I have been posting on CycleBlazse as we go along but have been truant here. I guess I’m not so good at multi-tasking. Somehow I just didn’t find the time.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

I did so enjoy your blog over on Blaze. Photos and stories of your days on tour were great. I had missed you here so was happy to catch up to you over there. Great picnic shot for August here. Wondering, wondering what September will bring us for our challenge. September already! Summer as usual for me, went all too fast.

Thanks, Nancy! Yes, the summer went way too fast… Hard to imagine slogging through another winter.

Thanks, Rich! I really enjoyed working on my photos and posting them while we were traveling. Much nicer than waiting until we are back home

I’ve been following along on the other site and am glad you could continue the previous tour route. That’s a great picnic shot. When I read your journal, I keep thinking, “what would I do with such short distances between services!?!” My sense of space and distance is so different after living in Oz.

Yes, everything here seems diminutive compared to the space in Oz and the USA. But you can find space and quiet when you make it a priority when planning.
