A Return

Its now over a year since I last posted anything on this site, not really sure how that time disappeared.

Since moving from Abingdon to the village of Drayton a couple of miles to the south, I’ve managed to get out a bit more in recent times.

Took this photo in the picturesque village of Shilton

Apologises if the content is a bit sparse, the format is somewhat different to what I remember, it will no doubt take me a while to suss it all out.

I had a long absence from cycling and this site, so I had a problem, too. Finally decided as long as I posted some pics and it was readable, it didn’t matter if it looked pretty. Glad you’ve returned. The more the merrier. Lovely photo.

Thanks Laura, I did struggle a bit hence the lack of detail.

So glad to see you back – I had often thought of you and hoped you were well. I have been missing my dose of thatched roofs (rooves?). Have you ticked off more Quests? I hope you are settled in in Drayton.

Em, thanks for your kind thoughts, yes we are both well, though the move was very stressful during the peak of the pandemic in the UK it was all worth while.
Yes, I’m still Questing, the included photo was on one such Quest a couple of weeks ago.
I’m out again tomorrow so have to look out for some decent thatches.

Beautiful country bridge ;’-) and arches. Welcome back, Many of us need a hiatus at times.

Thank you Nancy, the bridge with the ford in front is in a lovely village with short sharp hills in and out of it.

I just got done commenting on John P.’s post in which I wrote that he had the distinction of capturing the first photo of an arch reflecting in the water. Now that I got to your post, I have to correct myself. You beat him by a few hours — and you got two of them.
