ABCDE — ING RIDE #2

Today I joined the Seattle Bike Club ride around part of Seattle. I don’t get to ride in the city very often, nor do I have much wish to do so. But there was a ride at my chosen pace (slow) around the north end and I dragged Susan and two other friends to join me ;’-). Of course, when on a group ride one cannot stop at will to take a photo and I missed several goods ones, especially of bridges. But I grabbed some quick photos at our brief stops and post them here.

Arches

Bike (that is not mine, but a rental)

Bricks

Bench (at our snack stop)_

Cable (locking down the chair at our table)

Covid testing bus

Dumpster

Eye store

(Grain) Elevator (I hope)

Where was this – around Lake Union? I especially like the arches.

A little around Lake Union — Arches photo was taken at Gas Works — around Magnolia and Discovery Park. A really nice ride with someone leading who knows the area very well ;’-).

Is that the Cascade Cycling Club? I’m editor of my local clubs newsletter so always looking for ideas from other clubs

Nice ride and great photos despite the limitations of a group ride.

It’s rather funny — at any stop I am off in a spot looking for and taking a photo!! Gotta do it quickly too ;’-).
