ABC’s at the RR

Railroad Crossing ahead

Expansion joint and flangeways

Tie Clips aka Rail Anchors grabbing underside of the rail

Chicago is 100 miles that-a-way

Cross Arms and Electric Lines

(Incidentally, the grade crossing signal has a back up power supply so it will operate during a power outage)

Bicycle in the clear as train approaches

The two lower lights on the locomotive are Ditch Lights

CSX locomotive rocks as it approaches the crossing

Tomorrow may not be a cycling day.  Forecast winds of 20-30mph in the morning will increase to 40-50 mph in the afternoon, and possibly up to 60+ mph to the northwest.  IE.  McClean County.
