AMERICAN EAGLE DAY
I have yet to be near where I can celebrate Fish are Friends Week, but hope that will happen soon enough. We do see eagles (live ones) around here and I do see them on some bike rides, but I know I will not be seeing any today — or this week most likely — so thought this would to to honor them today.

Wow! Was that carved out of the stump, or just added to the stump?
That stump is so high, I cannot really tell. My guess is that the carving was made from the top part of the tree, but may have been added to the stump. I will keep checking to see if I have a better view somewhere somehow.
