I, too, thought there would be no arches far and wide, but lo and behold here an arch, there an arch, everywhere an arch … Well, not that many, but more than I had time to stop for on my way to the gym this morning. No problem, I’ll be taking that route often.
First I stopped at the pharmacy to pick up a prescription – look at that nice pavement and the bicycle stand. A pretty little gate – the scene seemed to me to have a southern flair.Entrance to the Al Castagno beer garden – The horse chestnut (castagno) provides welcome shade on hot summer days and is a popular tree for beer gardens.Nature’s arches
I have had to stop so many times because there is an arch!! Haven’t taken photos of all of them, but will be returning to those routes this month, so will have to add more!! ;’-). Funny when you start looking for something it appears everywhere.
You’re right about the gate that “seemed to have a southern flair.” It looks like it came straight from New Orleans.

That’s a beautiful gate! My insurance will pay my gym fee and may take them up on it this winter if the caretaker works out.
Nice corn leaf arch!
Looks like the first hints of autumn are arriving there.
