Arches

Arch-like irrigation spray over a bean field

Brick arch over drive in door at what once was a Porsche dealership

Note how the mortar is failing in the bottom course and bricks have already fallen on the upper right wall

And the efflorescence on the brick above, indicating water is seeping through the bricks and deteriorating the mortar

More collapses are imminent

Arches over blocked off windows and poison ivy vines –> (jk)

Eons ago baseball broadcaster Dizzy Dean remarked about a long ball hit at Wrigley Field

“Clear back into those poison ivy vines”

Another brick arch, same building

Love the brick arches ;’-) And the arched irrigation seen past your arched bike cables ?

I looked right thru those cables and never gave it a thought arch-wise.
Hmmmm wonder how many more arches might be found on a bicycle — the rear fender on your BF is one.

Rich, I’m starting to worry about a recurring theme in Hoopeston. Do you live in a brick house? If so, please let us know immediately.

I’m going to have to be more observant. You guys make me look bad. 🙂 Do love the arched bricks.

These posts, Rich, I think need a title – something like “the joys of capitalism” or something.

Rich, you might have been the only person on Cycle365 who didn’t notice the arched bike cables way before the arched irrigator spray.

Probably! See my latest post concerning my powers of observation/intellectual capacity. 😉
