They said rain for the mid morning and again in the early afternoon today. My usual love for early morning riding had some difficulty getting me on my bike at 8:00 because it was cold! Temps were not as low as they have been (48 this morning), but the dampness from the evening and night time rain hung around with dark clouds to make the morning feel mighty chilly.

I would cut my ride short, but not before finding at least one of these for the challenge. I think we have all, at some time during the past 2-3 years, felt caged!

This cage I came across on today’s ride.

This cage is from a ride I did a couple of days ago — looks to be a bird feeder actually. Note the birds on the banner too.

Tomorrow is looking like a much nicer day for a ride, then the remainder of the week not so much.

    Nice photos! Intricate bird cages/feeders.
Humidity makes hot feel hotter and cold feel colder for sure.

As we like to say in Illinois, its HOT but ‘at least’ its humid. 🙂
We get everything here from Tropical to Ice Cap — I’m certain Greg would agree the same is true in MN.

You are so right about humidity making the weather more extreme one way or the other — hotter or colder. Today, they say, will bring some dry air and MAYBE a sun break. Will get out fo that for sure.

Always like to think birds are happier outside the cage although they’re not safe from predators I suppose

I feel that way about all animals — better free than caged in in captivity. I know there are some good reasons for a zoo, but most are not good reasons — just to ogle “wild” animals.
