B IN AND AROUND ELK GROVE
While here in northern California the weather has been good and not so good, but not cold ;.’).
When was the last time you did something for the first time? I can answer that with: February 2, 2023 ;’).

We took the girls on a Rail Bike adventure. None of us had done this before so it was a first for all of us. A tad boring, but having the Grandgirls with us made all the difference.
The following day we had quite a bit of rain which was perfect for a shopping day with them. Then today has been cloudy with a cold morning that warmed up some by the end of my ride. The route took me along the Delta with rows of orchards and vineyards.

I will probably fill in more of the stories for some of the photos on my blog when I get around to doing that. ;’-).

Rail Biking looks like a good time!
All the rail lines around here are still active, so prolly not a good idea.
Lots of B’s! Enjoyed the photos — will get out and get some B’s here if the Blasted wind would aBate!
Good to B in northern California!
You are practically in my neck of the woods. There is some terrific riding on interesting, quiet roads on the islands in the Delta.
As to the rail bikes, which ones did you do? River Fox?
Yes, River Fox. The only way I know to find my way around for riding here is RWGPS. I found yesterday’s ride that I have done a couple of times in the past. It took me onto Randall Island and through the orchards and vineyards for a fine ride. Thinking of doing something shortish this afternoon and will look on there for a ride. Do you have maps of rides around here?
