Challenge 1 Wildhogs ride to Woodmans Point.

My first effort, Ride  number 1 from Applecross to Woodmans Point, a deranged chimp knows more about computers than me so here goes. For details click here

I live in the hills just east of the city of Perth, Western Australia and I've loved cycling all my life, From riding to primary school when I was 8 years old to cycle touring as a grumpy old man. Cycling is freedom on two wheels and I love getting on my bike at any opportunity.

Always enjoy your rides and photos…..looks very much like the Central Coast here in Monterey. Good job with the sunscreen 😂😂

Putting on sunscreen’s a bit tricky without a mirror, of course my friends won’t tell me if my face is a mess. I think Randal doesn’t know who he is right now. I’ve sure got a bit of catching up on the other guys journals to do.

Hey, good job, El Nalloh! When I first looked at this, you hadn’t figured out how to insert a link yet! I was coming back to help you out with it, but I see I’m too late.

Still figuring out a few things, I’ll get into a rhythm and be an expert soon ha ha

Nice to see all the sun and sand on the coast! Bit jealous that you had a nice summer. It was a super-hot one here – no individual records I don’t think, but well above average Nov-March. We’re all over it. Yesterday was 36C and today it looked apocalyptic with dust storms bringing through a change. We’re really hanging out for some rain, too! Em

Thankfully, it was a cool summer by our standards and we didn’t have any dangerous bushfires, usually there’s one big fire every year and 50 houses are burnt down. Still got the UV rays though and I’m planning a few long cycles in the countryside this year when it cools down.
      Wishing you cooling showers.

You sure are enjoying good weather at the moment. We have battened down the hatches this Sunday/Monday watching the garden being demolished around us in the high winds (120kph across Tassie – max so far 166!! )

I am bit worried about the women and dogs in the sea though – where are your infamous WA sharks?

You can get sick of fine weather, a thunderstorm would be wonderful. Sounds wild in Tassie, first I heard of it, might have something to do with the fact I don’t bother watching the news on TV these days. Despite all the attacks I still see people swimming along the coast, I don’t think anything will stop them (no imagination).
