Challenge of the month, September 2020: Arches

I’ll bet you thought I’d forget about posing this month’s Challenge, enjoying myself cruising around over here in Croatia with Rocky and pretending that the world isn’t falling apart before our eyes. Nope.
Let’s stick with shapes again for another month, and look at another versatile shape: arches. Lots of possibilities here, natural and un: tunnels, rainbows, culverts, synclines, feet. Any orientation is fine, including sideways or upside down. Only one rule, besides the usual ones: under no circumstances will entries with McDonalds Golden Arches be permitted. Flouting this rule could risk severe penalties, so take this one seriously (especially you, Greg and your cohort of clowns). McDonalds has taken over enough of the planet already. They can’t have this website!!

Good one again, Scott! For a while I was afraid it was going to be corncribs.?
Corn cribs! What a great idea! Maybe I should update the challenge to list this as an alternate theme.
or string …(I was just told off in German that my comment was too short ha ha)
I’m embarrassed to admit this, but McDonald’s really WAS the first thing I thought of. Now what am I going to do?
Nice red arch on your bridge, you could ride your bike to its apex.
Somehow I think you’re up to this, kiddo. Maybe arrange that 2 mile long string of yours into a giant smiley face and take an aerial photo?
Interesting challenged Scott. Love your opening photo. Thanks for keeping us foremost in your mind ;’-)
Isn’t that a great mural though? It’s from the Portland waterfront, about three blocks from where all the demonstrations and riots have been taking place.
