Cold Days in December

I’ve been walking more than riding, but on a few days when the temperature was two or three degrees above zero and the roads were clear, I got on my bike for short rides.

December 7 was one such day, but I didn’t spend too much time looking for ABC’s. I’ll just call this B-rrrrrrrr.
I saw this a-bandoned b-all on my walk on December 10 when it snowed all day long.
A veritable b-lizzard it was!
On December 12 Janos accompanied me and we rode our asphalt loop. I have shown this c-hurch before but it’s nice in snow and with the Christmas wreaths on the gate, too. I pushed my bike over the snow to where it is so it would be in the picture. I only ride when there is really no snow on the road surface.
The fields were lovely in the snow and I saw a b-arn.
On the a-sphalt loop – it’s about a 45-minute ride.
E-vening comes early now as we approach the winter solstice.

I’m not sure I would even walk in that blizzard! And I’ll bet that frozen ball could break open with any pressure. I love that church photo which I’m sure looks different in each season.

Good for you to take care and not ride in the snowy/icy areas. Leave that to intrepid Greg!

D####d fine post, Suzanne! The December 7th and barn shots are especially fine.

Nice snowman in the first photo, looks like he and his friend had a falling out.

No snow/ice riding here either — as the aviation people say: There are Old pilots and there are Bold pilots, but very few, if any, Old Bold pilots.

I suspect most of the missing images belong to spam registrations who need to be deleted. I think all the images uploaded by real users remain in place. Does it look otherwise to you?
