Colors and Sounds

Out on a ride a couple of days ago, bright sun and a brilliant blue sky, and then I came upon this unusually decorated house. Yikes, right in the middle of a Bavarian village.

And finally my first contribution for sounds.

I think that’s the coolest house I’ve ever seen. The best part is that all the decorations appear to be home made. Now that I’ve seen your pictures, only two things prevent me from doing something similar on my own house: 1) I have no wood carving skills, and 2) The Feeshko would kill me.
If you can make paper dolls, I’m sure you could manage some figures like this. Just need a jigsaw instead of scissors. But if I were the Feeshko, I wouldn’t be too happy either.
Well, that’s not quite what I expect when I hear the term ‘Bavarian village’. By the way, I think our forsythia are just about as the same stage as yours.
I’m back with another comment. I liked those decorations so much that I felt like I should make a suggestion for next month’s challenge. I know I might be stepping out of line here, but I think it would be fun to decorate our bikes with something of our own making. We could use our artistic talents — whatever they may be — and attach it to our bikes and take a picture. No need to worry if you, like me, have minimal artistic talent. The goofier the better in my opinion. Of course, I know Scott is in charge of such things, and I’m not Scott.
Hmm – decorate our bicycles. I’m thinking of dandelions and flowers.
No response on this from Scott so far.
Quite whimsical for a Bavarian Village!
My goodness! That is quite a sight! Do strong winds ever blow across roofs in that Bavarian village?
I wonder, too, what happens when it snows and storms come through.
Love the whimsy. Not a bad suggestion Greg
