Cycle Days Challenge #3 + Bike Where Ever Day

Another perfect cycling day in Illinois

There go Dave and Dwight along the North Fork River after having passed through bustling Cheneyville

Weather due for a major change next week, and in fact, a ‘Small Dog Advisory’ for tomorrow with winds gusting 35-40 mph

Taking advantage of this weather while we can

We know Illinois all too well

Here is our ride:  Cheneyville 9/23/2020

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

I was going to congratulate you for your small dog advisory phrase, which I’ve never heard of before. Looking it up though, I see it’s a real thing.

Do the chihuahuas get vicious when cold is on the way?

Neither have I ever before heard of the ‘small dog advisory’. Your winds must be enormously strong, and then in the flatlands, nothing to slow it down I suppose.

Added some additional images of mid west winds. 🙂

Small Dog Advisory? Another thing I have to check on the daily weather report? I won’t worry about it until there is a medium dog advisory, which would effect my 34-pound Diggity. I think Diggity could plow through a small dog advisory, but I know the wind would make his ear flaps fly upward.
