Cycle Days Challenge: December 2020

Of course I was hoping for a mild and dry December. But this is winter and in spite of global warming, we have had plenty of below freezing nights, just above freezing days and some snow – some snow, not a lot of snow, more like decoration on the fields and trees, adding a little magic to everyday scenes and never so much as to be a reason not to ride. The paths were almost always clear.

The award for “Greg’s Favorite Suzanne Photo” for the month of December goes to . . .
. . . the picture that includes those incredibly large snowflakes. I know I’ve seen and commented on it before, but I still can’t figure out how you got those huge flakes to motionlessly float in mid-air for you.
Thanks, Greg!
“can’t figure out how you got those huge flakes to motionlessly float in mid-air for you” – simple if you have manual settings on your camera. A shutter speed of about1/400 s, will stop the motion.
They are all so good, I would not attempt what Greg does by choosing the “best”. That rainbow is a one of a kind I think.
Happy, healthy and safe 2021 to you and Janos.
Thanks, Nancy! I think the rainbow is kind of unusual. I doubt I will capture a rainbow like that again.
Happy 2021 to you Suzanne! I love every one of those photos.
Congratulations on achieving your goal!
All the photos are beautiful, as always, I like the sculpture.
Ooooops, unable to edit to wish you All the Best in 2021!
Thanks, everybody!!!
Congratulations on hitting 6000 kms. I know it was a tough year at times, so that is outstanding. Well done!! I love all the photos and how they really capture the feeling of the season and month. All the best to you in 2021 – whether you halve, double or hit the same kms next year 🙂
