CYCLE DAYS CHALLNEGE #16 -17

Especially after Greg’s recent post, I feel verrrrrry fortunate to have OUR weather in MY town. ;’-). We remain in the 50s though gearing up this week for 40s and in the 30s at night, oh my!

Again — most about these photos is on my blog — as a kind of repeat of a teaneuring post I did this day as well. https://adventureswithnancyg.blogspot.com/2020/

This little station is a gem, and I am so happy that the homeowners have restored their Halloween display. There have been a couple/few years that they did not do this. Glad to see it return.

As I mentioned, I am again participating in the coffeeneuring “challenge”, but, not being a coffee drinker, I call mine “teaneuring”. I met up with Cindy on this day and we both brought our tea for a stop at a park in Everett. These dancing girls are always fun to see,

I did need to pull out my warmer cycling wear for yesterday’s ride, and will have to do that for today as well. Seems like fall just got here, and we are wintering already.

I don’t remember seeing the girls before, but I’ve only biked through Everett once or twice. I’ll need to watch for them in the future, assuming the States let us in again some day.

They are not all that noticeable if you are simply riding and passing through town. On Colby in the middle of the business area, they are under some trees on the sidewalk on the east side of the street. They have been there a long time, but I am not surprised that you didn’t see them.

It was 80 here today, but it wasn’t a day for the caregiver. The hike was cancelled two days in a row, so I didn’t get to walk either. I didn’t realize you were close enough to a city of that size. Lovely statue…we need more happy things like this to make us smile. After I take the little kitty to the vet tomorrow to check his foot to see if he is really going to lose his leg, I may try to do a short ride with the boys on the back. Last day of non-wet weather for awhile. I was not able to recover the photos from my last ride, but don’t think I’ll have time to ride it again tomorrow. Have another thought up my sleep though.

Here, too, it seems like the transition from warm weather to cold has been so sudden. I already have all my winter clothes ready.
