Cycle Life Challenge Ride #10 Untidy Emptyness

Out for a somewhat chilly (30’s F) ride this morning looking for collections of stuff which turned out to be successful
This submission is for the empty challenge
I present empty beverage containers along 1550E aka south 7th Street aka Hospital Road
The least they could have done is arrange the containers in tidy fashion as known elsewhere in the world
Dies ist deine letzte Warnung, mach es noch einmal und wir werden dir in den Arsch treten!

As with Dave, I hope you had a nice Tasse heiße Schokolade to recover after a chilly ride.
Thanks!
I should have arranged those bottle around the base of the pole — Covid fears put that off.
Ich hatte etwas ähnliches
Where was Google Translate when I needed it???
They’ve just brought in a container deposit scheme here, 10 cents each, hope it will reduce the litter.
“Dies ist deine letzte Warnung, mach es noch einmal und wir werden dir in den Arsch treten!” Ha ha, had a good laugh at that one. The German’s might keep the roadside clean, but not necessarily their language.
I remember riding in my folks car on family vacations and seeing the “Don’t Be A Litter Bug,” and “$50 Fine For Littering” signs. That was enough of a deterrent for me. Nowadays, maybe we should up the fine to ONE MILLION dollars.
Maybe those aren’t in neat tidy rows but perhaps there is some high level abstract art form going on there that is above my head. With WA and VIC finally getting on-board, there will be container refunds across Oz pretty soon. Research suggests it does reduce litter – not so much people throwing it out on the roadside but from other people coming along and scavenging the containers. You’ll see people in the parks here on Sunday evenings going through all the rubbish and recycling bins to pick out what has been disposed over the weekend.
