Dormant Flora/One Fauna

Very much enjoy all the entries you all have provided -- great to see the everyday cycling venues. Being in eastern Illinois, scenery certainly isn't our forte, but oh well, the roads are normally quiet. Look forward to more and more entries from all of you, I do have a few over on BL -- in Bill's Day Rides, and one journal.

I see it’s still winter in Illinois too. It looks like there’s some frost in those barren trees.

I love your photos Rich — especially the fauna. Hang in there — better days are coming. They tell me.

Thanks! The fauna is Max a rescue kitty.
Yes, winter is beginning to lose it grip, but not without resistance.

At least the fauna wasn’t dormant. Flora’s coming sooner than you think!

The fauna is far from dormant! 🙂
Years ago I listened to Deutsche Welle on shortwave radio — the host had a cat named Jesse — and would always sign off with: “Regards from Jesse, the cat what am”.
Im ready for some non-dormant flora!

Well, if March comes in like a lion, it goes out like a lamb, right? My mid-March birthday parties in Indiana were sometimes nice, sometimes in a blizzard and sometimes just grey and cold. Spring can be so long coming and then so temperamental when it arrives. Hope you get some sun, jonquils and robins soon!
