Drop-Off-Your-Ballot Day
Dropped off my ballot at the library (although I had to go inside to do so) and then pedaled over to visit a friend who suffered a stroke last week.

Funny how we don’t get I VOTED stickers over here…. since voting is compulsory. They did mail-in ballots for the local gov elections during COVID and I wish they would continue that. The recent federal election was run like a normal election though – with the exception that they did hand out masks at the door and had hand sanitiser. And they sanitised all the pencils between use. .No primaries in Oz though. (Local, state and federal elections all take place at different times over here, so we go to the polls a lot more frequently it feels like. I don’t bother voting in US elections anymore).
