The Equinox is just a few days away — and as the Analemma shows, the direct ray of the sun is striking approximately 2 degrees south of the equator today (March 15th).
Spring has been a real struggle to arrive here, not to mention Minnesota, but looks to be advancing nicely in Washington, Oregon, California, and Organ Pipe National Monument.
Again, this is technically a one day challenge, although a day or two either side of March 20th wont make a huge difference –> allowing for clear skies in the period at some point.
If possible, orient on an East/West road, and photograph the sun either rising or setting, which will be either due east or west depending on which event you photograph. Be sure to include your bicycle!
This is also the time to balance an egg on end 😉

Now, there might have been, might, I say, have been some poster putty involved, but I will neither confirm nor deny that. 🙂
