Fasten-ating and Rivet-ing

I’m surprised no one beat me to it with these puns! I nailed it! No wait, nails don’t count as fasteners, screws do. Screwed it.

I was on my bike today for the first time since my operation. I took it easy, rode slow and avoided any climbs on this little ten kilometer trial run. It was cool and not raining (yet) but it felt good to be in the saddle again.

There are some screws here, but could you call the loop holding the two road blocks together a fastener, too? What about the zippers on my cargo bag?
A whimsical fence outside a school… What about zip ties, do they count?

GREAT to see you back cycling!!!
After consultation with Helen, we both agree all you photographed are indeed fasteners.

They all hold things together but can be disassembled with no damage to the parts.

Even zip ties can be unzipped if you hold down the little rachet lever thing and pull the tie out. (Yes, I do recycle zip ties , , , , cause, you know, All Zip Ties Matter) πŸ˜‰

Happy hunting more fasten-ating and rivet-ing objects — points awarded for the puns!
