Flowers and a House
Today was a case of rain, then sun then torrential rain.

These snowdrops are the first of the year for me, taken while the sun was briefly out.

This unusual house could be yours for snip at a guide price of £325,000 ($393,000 or 368,550 Euros), it has been on the markets for months, can’t imagine why.
From here the weather started to deteriorate, the last 8 miles were in rain that I haven’t ridden for many a long year. Anyway everything got washed and is now dry, the bike has been looked at and has a nice re-oiled chain.

When I saw the word “snowdrops,” I was thinking that must be what Brits call snowflakes. I looked closer and I still didn’t see any snowflakes. That’s when I assumed those white flowers must be snowdrops. I googled it and confirmed my assumption.
In a few weeks time I plan to visit a church up in the Chilterns Hills where the church yard is awash with them.
Nice old house, chimney looks like its about to fall through the roof. I do wonder how people can afford properties in the UK countryside.
Yeah all very expensive, looks to be a sellers market.
The snowdrops are great!
As to the house . . . . . the buyer will get what appear to be new windows, and chimney with a sprouting vine of some sort, satellite TV — and most importantly, a nice addition to house all their bicycles and shop. 🙂
The garden could use some TLC — so, yeah, Im in!! 😉
The house is an absolute bargain. I’ll keep an eye on it and record the changes that are made to it when it sells, though don’t hold your breathe.
Interesting house. It could serve as a reminder that homes (and chimneys) require a bit of maintenance every now and again.
Yes very interesting, not sure how the owners obtained planning permission for the extension, it looks dreadful.
House is probably not selling because of the tree growing out of the chimney.
Your weather sounds similar to what we are having.
It’s certainly a unique feature. and the house has created some interest on Cycle365.
Yes rain again today.
