Frightening February

Help! This month is going to be full of perils, dangers, hazards, risks, threats, menaces, pitfalls and accidents. (Come on, Thesaurus, give me some more.) I couldn’t wait to dive in to this cauldron of unknowns lurking around every corner.

So again on foot – much too dangerous on a bicycle – I ventured forth. Within walking distance I found two warnings that helped me avoid serious trouble.

If it hadn’t been for the sign warning me of the dangerous border collie guarding its owners, I might have gotten into a precarious situation.
Crikey! High voltage, danger of death! I won’t walk over that bridge again.

The most distressing thing February can bring, though, is a lot more cold and rainy days!

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

Well, what an early bird you are. We here are barely into February and you have already faced such peril and pitfall filled walking! Nice finds.

    Excellent use of a Thesaurus!

I always thought Collies were a FRIENDLY breed of dog. Maybe that was from watching “Lassie” when I was a kid. But then, I think I remember Lassie getting a little irked if anybody threatened Timmy.

Oh my goodness, I hope people sight hazards but no one has any accidents – that thesaurus word is a bit too far/much!

Never met a mean Border Collie yet. Maybe I might just wrap myself in bubble wrap and stay in bed this month.
