GETTING MY FIRST ARCHES

My first arches are a couple of trellises. One rather ‘natural’, the other rather adorned. The adorned trellis leads to another arch. I will stay away from posting more trellis arches unless I find one, or some, that are very different. These two are a good sampling I think.

As with trellis arches, I will not post every house entry arch, though I passed by several nice ones on my ride with Cindy today. Having already made a few photo op stops I was reluctant to subject her to many more. So those will come later on another ride this month. Got this one though. Two arches actually.

I like theses tunnel-type entryways, and will post any that I find. I doubt I will find very many. The old and new brick work is quite the contrast.

That completes my recent arch findings. I now add one last radiating photo…

That is all for now ;’-)

You are off to a great start!
There is an eyebrow window in the second house photo that is an arch too.
The radiant sprinkler is a really cool photo.

(Your bricks look in a lot better shape than many of our bricks)

Thanks Rich. I really liked that sprinkler photo and could not help myself but to post it. I did notice that second arch on the house roof, but have not known that it is called an ‘eyebrow window’. I love knowing that — thanks. Bricks here are most likely not as old as some of yours ;’-).

Great start! I’m going to have to get busy and look around if I don’t want to fall behind. The sprinkler photo is great!
