Gon for a Walk

It doesn’t look like I will be getting on my bike any time soon. The winter weather continues and it is seldom is warmer than +1°C during the day. That is fine for walking, although if I had my druthers +10° would be more to my liking. But then I probably wouldn’t walk but ride.

A puddle selfie – and see how terrible the weather is! Next time I’ll try not to cut off my head in the reflection.

And I know walking is good for me, yessirreesir, so I am out for a daily ramble, starting at our front door. Even on foot I have a nice choice of routes I can take.

Our local woods that you have probably seen often enough with a bicycle included in the picture.

Sleigh riding looks like it might be fun – if you didn’t always have to climb back up the hill.
Soccer field closed and triangle almost gon

I don’t see a lot of polygons on my walks, though. The featured image has lots of boring windows and they will have to suffice. The sports club is of course closed now, as well. Too bad, that is where I would otherwise have my qi gong classes.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

Hard to imagine I will see a better candidate for “Greg’s Favorite Suzanne Picture for the Month of January” than that puddle selfie, but you never cease to surprise me. I guess the judge (ME) will see at the end of the month.

Yessirreesir! Good for you. And what delightful trails for your walks! I have yet to regain my love for walking. Good for you, and love those photos.

That looks like a wonderful trail winding through the woods.

Enjoyed your walking pictures. I didn’t even give the challenge of the month a thought on my last hike. Will have to think of that next time I hike.
