I found some objects in the forest that I thought would qualify nicely for our new challenge – but then I wasn’t so sure.

I found these two definitions of handmade: 1. crafted by hand rather than by machine; 2. made by hand or by a hand process

The first definition would disqualify them, but then I thought I could get by with the second definition.

I have probably more than once posted pictures of the simple chainsaw art that I discovered on my rides in the forest. Here they are again, fresh photos for the challenge. Chainsaw art, made by hand, using a machine.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

Yes, those are hand made, they didn’t get that way by themselves or were machine made.
Those carvings are exactly what I was thinking of when I selected your topic for the challenge.
We do use machines of one form or another to make stuff by hand or we would be back in the Stone Age. 🙂
Not seeing a lot of hand made or home made stuff around here — easier just to go buy it I guess?
Great to see you are back out cycling!!

Great hand created items you have there. I have been running dry so far for this challenge. Then again, I have not had much opportunity to ride my bike over the past two weeks. Will try to get out a lot now that we are home. Rain looks to be settling in starting next weekend!!
