I’D JUST LIKE TO RIDE MY BICYCLE
Between my availability (camping; family) and the weather (rain, snow, cold, wind) I have ridden my bike much less than I would hope for. I have gotten in a few very short rides but not even enough to take a photo to post here. Today was the day for a nice long one ????????.
I had nothing in mind to look for or take a photo of so have not much to share, but a few things did get my attention.
We are huge Seahawks fans around here…

I did a double back to get the flock! Mainly I think students do this to each other but I don’t know who gets them or why.

As I neared home I heard our high school marching band practicing. I always love seeing them on the grounds outdoors usually ’drumming’.

I started my ride with a bank errand to do and it was cold enough at the very beginning to make me consider returning home until later in the day. I continued to the bank and thought I would go at least a couple more miles before making a choice to shorten my ride. So glad! The sun got stronger and stayed with me all day as the temps rose only a little and I was no longer cold. A great day on the saddle.

Glad you got a nice ride in, same here, lots of wind, yesterday it snowed, one day warm, then cold and rain… . You know what I mean! But I have done some short rides and will post pictures soon.
Good ride!
I know what you mean — lousy weather here as well — a few short rides, but nothing to photograph that hasn’t been posted before.
One of our coaching staff here years ago had been a player for the Seahawks.
It’s kinda true as they say, that misery likes company!! But I am sorry that you two, and in essence all of us, have had weather that keeps us off our bike. Now we will have 4-5 days of gorgeous then rain hits again ;’-(. At lease we all seem to get out for short rides when we can.
I do miss everyone here and think our group has shrunk again. We need to do some outreach because I don’t want to lose us.
Yes, it seems as though Bill is building an Ark, and Bob is covered in snow. 🙁
And Greg is out in the world somewhere.
Yes, we’re still recovering from the latest storm. Most of the area is still without power. I did get in a short ride this afternoon, but never got around to taking any pictures. I’ll be back and posting again soon, as the weather improves and I start to get out more.
