I’D LIKE TO DO AN ERRAND BY BIKE

Since weather prevented me from doing my bank errand by bike, I have been sad about that. The drive up teller said hello to me and that she really had a hard time recognizing me out of my biking gear! I almost never do this errand by car.

I roped Susan into hooking up the Travoy and riding up to the grocery store for a few items we needed. The ”few items” did have a way of growing as I watched her exit the store with way more stuff than was on the list! I stayed out to watch over our bikes and Susan did the purchasing.

Here we pack it all in…

My original plan was to do a longer ride after the grocery stop (and being lookout for out bikes). But with our late start (Susan was not only in her usual late start mode, but used icy morning roads as an excuse), the shopping taking longer than I had thought, and the sky filling up with those darker clouds, I adapted. As Susan returned home with the goods I did a little reverse trip through parts of our neighborhood.

Keep our little school children safe.

Lions of a bit different look.

I was of course happy for the ride even though it was shorter than I had planned. The next couple of days may bring riding weather. And I’D like to ride ;’-).

Every little ride counts! I’m glad you could get out on your NEW BIKE!

My new bike is heaven. I will take any chance to get out with her. I am still working on letting go of number of miles, and focusing more on number of days I get to ride.

Dang! There are bedding plants out for sale already there! — be a while here yet.
Glad you got out for a ride!
