Imperfect Stones and patterns

Just a few miscellaneous shots for the challenge. We have been having great weather, even the rainy days are only half rainy and I can get out for a whiff of fresh air in the morning or afternoon.

School hasn’t started yet and it is still nice an quiet on the streets in the morning between eight and nine when I am on my way to tai chi practice. Usually this is a busy shopping square. I took advantage of the quiet to get a picture of the bull and the stone pattern that he is pawing.
I don’t think this curvy border on the bike path was intended. Not a serious imperfection, nevertheless not great masonry. Or maybe there was a reason – what do I know. I think someone drove into it before the cement had dried.
The old distillery in Frohnloh is not being torn down, it is being rebuilt and is now a construction site. Still very imperfect but I like the warm tones of the old brick walls. The blue plastic sheeting almost looks like a flag, albeit an imperfect one, and even as a window covering it isn’t very intact.
Well past their prime, a sad reminder that it is late summer.

I'm a US born ex-pat, having lived most of my adult life in Munich, Germany. Cycling and photography are my favorite things.

We seem to be having similar weather to you and I continue to try to bike any chance I can get. Some rides are fairly short, but any ride is better than no ride ;’-). I’ve the look of the old distillery and am so pleased it is being restored rather than destroyed — which sees often to be how we treat old buildings in the states.
