It’s Easy to Find Imperfections When You’re as Perfect as I Am

Broken Tree Ahead

A herd of geese pooping on the school’s soccer field is an imperfect scenario.

Speaking of imperfect scenarios, this Garceau was smelly and littered with toilet paper. I spared you the horrific view down into the bottom of the toilet.

Apparently, this parking lot is not perfectly level.

I’m glad I could show you a few imperfections today. Now I’ll show a couple of unusual things I saw. They’re not totally freaky but, at the very least, they’re not something you see every day.

A black squirrel

A Sunday morning wedding at the Mississippi River observation deck near downtown MY Town. I have to admit that the main reason I liked this picture is because it had the exact same number of people in the wedding party [five] and invited guests [zero] as The Feeshko and I had at our wedding.

Hi. My name is Greg and I ride my bike a lot. That is to say, I ride my bike almost every day. I go on long rides and short rides. Sunny rides, cloudy rides, and rainy rides. I like commuting, errand-running, day-tripping, overnighting, and touring on my bike. I ride on city streets, highways, gravel, single track, and snow with equal enthusiasm. Sometimes I ride fast and sometimes I ride slow. I try to keep my feet on the pedals at stop lights and I do not dismount when I hop up on a curb. I have a roadie bike, a mountain bike and a touring bike. I try to accept any challenge a bike ride can throw at me without complaint. But I don't like bugs.

A great collection of imperfectness from the perfect prefecture person.

First time I ever saw a black squirrel was in Fisher (yes, Fisher, their sports teams are the Bunnies)_ Illinois. Later, saw another in Danville, IL

Had to look them up to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. Bazooka bubble gum will do that to you ya know.

Olney, IL has white squirrels and for gawd’s sake dont hit one! Seriously.

Geeses or that Garceau — no choice there! And, besides, there is a nice big pile of soil back there. 😉

We often see black squirrels in parts of Eastern WA and also in some of Montana. They are different.

Good imperfects too — parking long not only unlevel, but imperfect pavement as well.
