January Challenge Day 16

Lots and lots of snow today and it’s still going strong. So I guess yesterday was really the last day on my bike for a while. It was kind of a borderline day. The roads and paths were clear, at least the ones I chose, and it was around 2C/28F. With some snow from above it felt kind of wet. I got some pictures on my very short outing which otherwise wasn’t that great.

I posed my bike here, but I didn’t ride the snowy path between the fields.
I like the picture on the shed. The bouquet of lavender reminds me of southern France and is in such contrast with the snow.
Very characteristic Bavarian roadside cross set between two trees and with a lantern at its base and a bench nearby. A shady place to rest on a nice day.
Another path I didn’t take but good for a picture. I’m very careful with my old bones.

    I’m careful with these old bones too, and would not ride on that (or any) snow ;’-).
    I so love that bike with lavender picture. You may not have ridden far, but you did get some really nice pictures.

    Nice photos for sure!
    Exercise caution on slick roads here too. The last thing I want is to be laid up when the good weather does arrive.
